According to video by TMZ, Lark’s mother recently told People magazine that her daughter has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Lark told TMZ that her mother’s report is ‘comical.’
Voorhies’ mother, Tricia, tells the magazine that; "there are things that have traumatized her. I care deeply about my daughter and I want her to resume her life…She's trying so hard. She says she's delayed, but she's going to get there."
The 64-year-old went on to add that she believes her daughter’s mental health started to decline following her 2001 divorce to actor-producer, Miguel Coleman. To support her mother’s comments, Voorhies added that she has been reluctant to seek professional treatment due to their lack of understanding.
