Judge Refuses To Lift Meek Mill’s Travel Ban

Meek Mill was supposed to make stops in Lagos, Nigeria and Libreville, Gabon but may not be able to because of travel restrictions from his 2008 probation.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports, the rapper was unable to convince a judge to lift the travel restriction on his probation from a 2008 conviction for assault, weapons violations and drug charges. He was sentenced to 11 to 23 months in prison and 5 years of probation. He was hoping to get the ban removed so he would not have to ask permission from the court to travel for his tour dates. His lawyers said keeping the ban in place could cost the him about $500,000 in earnings in the coming weeks
