TRENTON: Mayor Tony F. Mack is pleased to announce a partnership between The City of Trenton and The Greater Southern New Jersey Korean American Association (GSNJKAA) for the 2012 Winter Coat Gift Event. GSNJKAA reached out to the City of Trenton Mayor’s Office in effort to determine how they could be supportive of residents in need this holiday season.
The City and GSNJKAA will host the program tomorrow from 11:30AM-1:00PM in the atrium of Trenton City Hall. GSNJKAA will be offering guests a complimentary lunch. Working with our Health & Human Services Department and other social agencies, the City and GSNJKAA will distribute winter coats to residents selected from these agencies.
GSNJKAA is an organization that represents 25,000 Korean Americans whom reside in Mercer, Burlington, Salem, Gloucester, Cumberland, and Camden counties. GSNJKAA works to not only enhance Korean American's lives in the State of New Jersey but to collaborate with diverse communities to build a stronger nation.
“We are looking forward to providing members of the Trenton community with winter jackets, in this great time of need. We also wish to thank Mayor Tony Mack for accepting our invitation to partner on this initiative,” stated Mr. Chae Hahm, President, The Greater Southern New Jersey Korean American Association.
