Benefit Concert for Peace

 
JULIA NIXON & DAVID YLVISAKER, Make Musical Magic Together in Benefit Concert for the Coalition for Peace Action (CFPA) - Friday, December 28 at 7:30 pm - Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 50 Cherry Hill Rd Princeton, NJ (at Rte 206).
JULIA NIXON, a virtuoso vocal artist with a four-and-a-half octave range and powerful and wide repertoire, melds R&B, Jazz, Gospel and classic forms. Her Double Dawg Records “Keepin’ on Track” was considered for a Grammy. She has received many other accolades including a 2009 Washington Area Music Awards Wammie.
DAVID YLVISAKER, an exceptionally intuitive musician and composer is also a vibrant keyboard artist. Ylvisaker grew up in Cranbury, NJ and is COMING HOME to perform in Princeton for this CFPA benefit concert. His versatility and musicianship on a variety of instruments, principally keyboard, is highly acclaimed.
The duo performs widely together -. two souls in song and sound to benefit us all. Get ready to be moved! Light refreshments after the concert.
