SHERYL MALLORY-JOHNSON

Sheryl Mallory-Johnson’s writing style can best be described as multifaceted. Her first novel, Sense of Love, is as courageous and truthful as Terry McMillan’s Disappearing Acts, with the depth and poignancy of Toni Morrison’s Love.
Mallory-Johnson’s second novel, L.A. Summer: Friends ‘Til the Blood End,” is unparalleled. Fast-paced and reality based, this “edgy” new teen series speaks to the heart and soul of the hip-hop generation, capturing the spirit of teenage girls at a time in their lives when friendship, having fun, and boys are the center of their world.
