Hublot Watches Collaborates With W.B.C.

Vegas will never be the same. This past weekend, Swiss luxury watch brand Hublot paired up with the World Boxing Council (W.B.C.) and together, they hosted an evening that brought together boxing heavyweights with the masters of Hublot’s timepieces.

Mike Tyson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Lennox Lewis, Jeff Fenech, Larry Holmes, Tommy Hearns, Roberto Duran, Azumah Nelson, Ken Norton, Julio Cesar Chavez, Oscar De La Hoya and George Foreman were on hand to ring in the partnership. In celebration of the inauguration of the WBC Pension Fund, Hublot created 12 unique timepieces that were both dedicated and signed by each legendary boxer (also including Oscar De La Hoya and Ken Norton).

The twelve watches were auctioned off over the weekend raising a total of 1 million dollars for the fund, which was set up to help battle new needs of their constituents. The World Boxing Council, under the leadership of President Don Jose Sulaiman, is the world’s largest sports sanctioning body. Embracing 164 countries and 10 Federations it is the proud owner of the Green Belt, the highest form of recognition a champion boxer can receive.
